Orville Couch (Orville George Couch Jr) was born in Grapevine, Texas on February 21, 1935. He was raised up in Patrick, Texas.

He spent a life time in writing songs, composing and singing classic country and gospel music. He was a disc jockey on KZEE (Weatherford, Texas) in 1956.

He wrote and was famous for the song "Hello Trouble" that was a big hit in the early sixties. Also "King For A Day" written by Dr Joe Price was a great song for him.

He was a regular on the Big "D" Jamboree and performed with many of the greats over the years. He was there when Elvis first played the Jamboree.

Orville attended church and he played with the Combine church band until his death. He died of Lymphoma in Dallas County, Texas on May 26, 2002 at age 67. He was buried in the Lancaster, Texas Cemetery.
